Sing Against Greg and Rowley in FNF: Diary of a Funky Kid

FNF: Diary of a Funky Kid brings the world of Diary of a Wimpy Kid into Friday Night Funkin’. The game features Greg Heffley, his best friend Rowley Jefferson, and Boyfriend in a collection of funny musical battles.

The adventure begins after Greg and Rowley finish school. While walking home, they encounter a strange blue-haired boy who wants to challenge them to a singing contest.

Greg doesn’t like the idea of someone copying his singing, but he decides to accept the challenge.

The mod uses black-and-white character drawings inspired by the original books. Even Boyfriend receives a new appearance that matches Greg’s cartoon world.

Meet Greg Heffley and Rowley Jefferson

Greg is the main opponent in Diary of a Funky Kid.

He wears his familiar school clothes and carries a microphone instead of simply writing in his journal.

Rowley also joins the musical adventure.

The two friends have different appearances and singing sounds, giving their performances a different feel.

Boyfriend looks unusual in this world because his character design follows the same drawing style as the other characters.

Play Three Main Songs

Diary of a Funky Kid includes three main musical tracks.

Paperback begins the competition between Greg and Boyfriend.

Awesome Friendly Kid brings Rowley into the performance.

Double Down continues the challenge with another song featuring Greg and Rowley.

The music becomes more demanding as you move through the week.

You need to watch the moving arrows carefully and complete every performance.

Explore the Diary-Style Story

One interesting feature of Diary of a Funky Kid is the way it presents its story.

The game includes illustrated diary pages that help explain what happens between songs.

The drawings match the familiar style of the Wimpy Kid books.

This makes the story feel different from an ordinary Friday Night Funkin’ mod.

The original release also includes an extra track called Cheese Touch, which appears as hidden or bonus content in some versions.

How to Play FNF: Diary of a Funky Kid

Use the Arrow Keys or WASD to play the notes.

Press the matching direction when an arrow reaches its target.

Correct hits help you stay in the musical battle. Missing too many notes reduces your health.

You can play the connected songs in Story Mode or select individual tracks in Freeplay.

Try listening to the music and recognizing repeating note patterns.

FNF: Diary of a Funky Kid combines Greg’s funny personality, Rowley’s friendship, familiar book-inspired drawings, and musical challenges featuring three main songs.
